About the role
A leading industrial company is looking for an experienced Masterbatch Factory Manager to oversee manufacturing operations involving filler and color masterbatch, calcium carbonate compounds, and related plastic compounds.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily factory operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Oversee extrusion and compounding processes, including single-screw and twin-screw operations.
- Monitor formulations, process parameters, product quality, and production efficiency.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize equipment breakdowns and production downtime.
- Optimize raw material consumption, waste, energy usage, and manufacturing costs.
- Lead production teams and ensure effective workforce planning and performance.
- Monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Production, Polymer, Materials, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in plastics compounding, masterbatch, or extrusion.
- 3–5 years of experience in production, operations, or factory management.
- Strong technical knowledge of extrusion, compounding, polymer processing, and masterbatch formulations.
- Familiarity with PE, PP, PVC, calcium carbonate compounds, pigments, and additives is preferred.
- Experience in production planning, cost control, quality management, and team leadership.
- Good command of English and proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience with Odoo is an advantage.
