About the role
Lead and supervise the accounting and finance team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the accounting/finance team.
- Own the monthly closing calendar.
- Review GL and subledger reconciliations, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and major journal entries.
- Review revenue recognition and project accounting.
- Control the Chart of Accounts and review related-party balances and Trial Balance.
- Ensure the ERP is closed by the 3rd of each month.
- Prepare and review the Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, and Statement of Changes in Equity.
- Coordinate with internal and external audit teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with an Accounting major — Required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or equivalent supervisory accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs.
- Experience in contracting businesses is highly preferred, particularly power/electrical contracting, infrastructure, and O&M.
- Hands-on ERP experience; Oracle E-Business Suite and/or Odoo preferred.
- Strong knowledge of monthly closing, financial reporting, project accounting, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Saudi market experience is highly preferred, including familiarity with Saudi accounting and VAT/ZATCA requirements.
